History
The Gold Rush was created by T. J. Siegal at Milk & Honey in New York around 2001 — bourbon, honey syrup and lemon, essentially a Bee's Knees built on whiskey. It became one of the foundational modern classics and a gateway to the honey-sweetened sour.
