History
The Greyhound is gin (or vodka) with grapefruit juice, a simple highball that appears in cocktail guides from the 1930s and whose name was popularized in the 1940s — reputedly after the Greyhound bus line's lunch counters. Tart and refreshing, it gains a salt-rimmed alter ego in the Salty Dog.
