Ingredients
- Bourbon2 oz (60 ml)
- Lemon Juice1 oz (30 ml)
- Simple Syrup0.5 oz (15 ml)
- Club SodaTop
How to make it
- Build bourbon, lemon and syrup over ice in a tall glass, top with soda water and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and cherry.

History
The Collins family began with genever (the original 'John Collins'), but the name settled on the whiskey version once the gin one took the 'Tom' name from Old Tom gin. Built tall over ice and lengthened with soda, it is the classic spirituous lemonade.
