History
The Airmail dates to the late 1920s and celebrates the dawn of international airmail service. A rum sour sweetened with honey and lengthened with Champagne, it appeared in a 1930 Bacardi promotional booklet and later in Esquire's 1949 Handbook for Hosts, which cemented its festive, effervescent reputation.
