History
The Bronx — gin with both vermouths and orange juice — was one of the most popular cocktails of the early 1900s. It is most often credited to bartender Johnnie Solon at New York's Waldorf-Astoria around 1906, who said he named it after a visit to the Bronx Zoo, though the attribution is not certain.
