History
The Widow's Kiss was created by New York bartender George Kappeler in the 1890s and recorded in his 1895 book. A potent, herbal autumn cocktail of apple brandy, Bénédictine, yellow Chartreuse and bitters, it has been embraced by the modern revival for its richness.
