History
A rich after-dinner cocktail of cognac, crème de cacao and cream, the Brandy Alexander descends from the earlier gin 'Alexander' of the 1910s and 20s. It enjoyed enormous mid-century popularity and was famously John Lennon's drink of choice, who reportedly called it a 'milkshake.'
