- Calvados0.75 oz (22.5 ml)
- Sweet Vermouth0.75 oz (22.5 ml)
How to make it
- Stir all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a coupe.

History
The Corpse Reviver family were morning 'hair of the dog' restoratives. The No. 1 is a brandy-based version with apple brandy (Calvados) and sweet vermouth, codified in Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book as a bracing eye-opener 'to be taken before 11 a.m., or whenever steam and energy are needed.'
