Glass: Hurricane
History
The Hurricane was created at Pat O'Brien's bar in New Orleans in the 1940s and served in a glass shaped like a hurricane lamp. The story goes that wartime liquor shortages forced bar owners to buy huge quantities of rum to get scarce whiskey, so they invented a fruity rum punch to use it up.
