History
The Jungle Bird was created in 1978 at the Aviary Bar of the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in Malaysia as a welcome drink for hotel guests. It is celebrated for its daring use of bitter Campari in a tiki context, balanced against dark rum and pineapple, and it became a cult favorite of the modern tiki revival.
