History
The Negroni Sbagliato — 'bungled' or 'mistaken' Negroni — was created at Bar Basso in Milan in the early 1970s when bartender Mirko Stocchetto reached for sparkling wine instead of gin. The happy accident produced a lighter, effervescent version of the classic.
