History

The Paper Plane was created by Sam Ross around 2008, debuting at the Violet Hour in Chicago. Equal parts bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino and lemon, it was named after the M.I.A. song 'Paper Planes' and became one of the defining modern classics, prized for its perfect bittersweet balance.
