- Tequila2 oz (60 ml)
- Orange Juice4 oz (120 ml)
- Grenadine0.5 oz (15 ml)
How to make it
- Build tequila and OJ in a highball.
- Slowly pour grenadine down the side.

History
The modern Tequila Sunrise — tequila, orange juice and a sink of grenadine that mimics a sunrise — was created at the Trident in Sausalito, California around 1972. It spread nationwide after the Rolling Stones adopted it during their 1972 American tour, which Keith Richards reportedly dubbed the 'cocaine and tequila sunrise' tour.
