History

Three Dots and a Dash was created by Don the Beachcomber (Donn Beach) in the early 1940s, its name and garnish — three cherries and a slice of pineapple — spelling out 'V' for Victory in Morse code, a wartime salute. The rum drink with honey, falernum, citrus and allspice is one of tiki's enduring classics.
