A potent Tiki cocktail with multiple rums.

Ingredients
- Rum1.5 oz (45 ml)
- Overproof Rum1 oz (30 ml)
- Lime Juice0.75 oz (22.5 ml)
- Falernum0.5 oz (15 ml)
- Grenadine0.5 oz (15 ml)
- Angostura Bitters1 dash
How to make it
- Shake all ingredients except overproof rum.
- Strain over crushed ice.
- Float overproof rum.

History
The Zombie was created by Donn Beach (Don the Beachcomber) in Hollywood in 1934, reputedly to help a hungover customer get through a business meeting; the man later complained he'd felt like 'the living dead' for days. A potent blend of several rums, falernum, citrus and grenadine, it was famously limited to two per customer.
