History
The Paloma — tequila with grapefruit soda and lime — is Mexico's most popular tequila drink. Its origin is uncertain, though it is often associated with Don Javier Delgado Corona of the cantina La Capilla in the town of Tequila. 'Paloma' means 'dove,' possibly after a popular folk song.
