History
The Twelve Mile Limit, recorded in the 1930s, takes its name from the maritime boundary beyond which American 'booze cruise' ships could legally serve liquor during Prohibition. It blends rum, rye and brandy with grenadine and lemon — a spirituous nod to Prohibition's loopholes.
