How to make it
- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a coupe.

History
The most famous of the 'corpse reviver' pick-me-ups, the No. 2 combines gin, Cointreau, Lillet, lemon and an absinthe rinse, and was popularized by Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book. Craddock dryly warned that 'four taken in swift succession will unrevive the corpse.'
