History
The Fitzgerald was created by Dale DeGroff at the Rainbow Room in New York in the 1990s. Essentially a gin sour with a dash of Angostura bitters, it was DeGroff's simple, elegant template for introducing drinkers to fresh-juice classics during the cocktail revival.
